Automatically Collected Information: We do not collect usage and log information. Neither do we collect device, connection, or geo-location information.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information mentioned above to operate and improve our application and for customer support.

Account Information: Your email will serve us for two purposes alone, at your request – for password recovery and for sending your personal "Five Lands" pdf reports.

Other Personal Information: As mentioned above, our mission is to provide you with a comprehensive report and insights, as well as to keep on improving the application and our services.

To make that possible, we ask you during registration to provide us with some demographic and additional personal information (related to your profession and career). We store this information for the purpose of statistical analysis and research alone.

At times, in order to improve the questionnaire and the application, we may use this information for anonymous statistical analysis and research.

Your Questionnaire Responses and Results: Your personal responses and results will be used to generate and display your personal "Five Lands" on-screen report (when performed via "The Five-Lands Journey" application) and to generate and send to your email your personal "Five Lands" pdf reports, at your request.

At times, to improve the questionnaire and the application, all the questionnaire responses and results of our users may be used for anonymous statistical analysis and research.

Information Disclosure Required by Law: We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.

Sharing of Personal Information: We may share anonymized, aggregated statistics with third parties. However, at any circumstance (except for information disclosure required by law) will we share personal information with any third-parties. To be more specific, we will not use any personal information collected by this application for marketing communications, online postings, affiliates, third-party advertisers, or business partners.

Third-Party Providers or Services: "The Five-Lands Journey" is a stand-alone application, and so are our online web-based questionnaires. None of those are connected to any Third-Party Services such as social networks. However, we may employ third-party companies, or individuals, in the following circumstances: Developers required for maintenance and further development of this application; Statistics professionals required for anonymous statistical analysis and research.

Interactions with Other Users: neither "The Five-Lands Journey" application nor any of our other services provides any interaction between users.

Firebase

"The Five-Lands Journey" application uses Firebase for back-end infrastructure purposes and Firebase Realtime Database to host users and data. Firebase is a mobile and web application development platform developed by Firebase, Inc. in 2011, then acquired by Google in 2014. As of October 2018, the Firebase platform has 18 products, which are used by 1.5 million apps. Among its security features is data security with 2048-bit SSL encryption for all data transfers.

While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other types of misuse. Any information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, we cannot guarantee complete security if you provide personal information.
